Masonry drill bit KWB 241135
The KWB 241135 masonry drill bit is designed for use with rotary hammers and features an SDS Plus shank and a self-centring tip. Built for drilling into masonry materials, it combines a multi-phase spiral and high-temperature brazed construction to improve waste removal and reduce friction and heat build-up while maintaining low vibration for stable operation. The bit meets standards set by the German Institute of Building Technology and is certified by the German drill bit testing organisation (PGM).
The SDS Plus shank ensures quick, secure fit in compatible rotary hammers and the self-centring tip provides accurate starts and reduced walking. High-temperature brazing increases durability at elevated loads and the multi-phase spiral promotes optimal removal of debris, resulting in efficient drilling with minimal friction, heat generation and vibration. Certification by PGM confirms compliance with recognised German testing and quality criteria.
Install the drill bit into the SDS Plus chuck of a compatible rotary hammer according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Use the hammer mode for masonry drilling, apply steady axial pressure without excessive force, and allow the tool to do the work. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and debris from the hole. For deeper holes, remove debris more frequently to maintain drilling efficiency.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, dust mask and hearing protection) and follow the rotary hammer manufacturer's safety and maintenance guidelines. Match the bit diameter and drilling method to the material being worked for best results.
