Circular Saw Blade KWB 581854 13 cm 1 pc
The KWB 581854 thin-cut circular saw blade is a tungsten carbide tipped blade with flutes for higher and faster performance. With a diameter of 13 cm and a bore of 1.6 cm, this single-piece blade is suitable for cordless circular hand saws and corded machines. It produces precise, clean cuts in solid wood, laminated boards, blockboard, chipboard, fibreboard and glass fibre reinforced plastics.
The tungsten carbide tips provide long-lasting edge retention and durability. Thin-cut design reduces material waste and requires less power, making it well suited for cordless saws. Flutes improve chip removal and cutting speed, while the 13 cm diameter and 1.6 cm bore ensure compatibility with many small circular saw models.
Install the blade on a compatible circular saw following the tool manufacturer's instructions and ensuring the saw is unplugged or the battery removed. Check that the bore fits the saw arbor and that the blade is mounted with the teeth pointing in the correct cutting direction. Secure the blade with the flange and nuts, tighten to the recommended torque, and perform a test cut on scrap material to confirm alignment and cutting quality. Use appropriate feed speed and avoid forcing the blade to extend its life.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (eye and ear protection, gloves). Use clamps to secure workpieces, and ensure the saw's guard and safety features are functioning. For best results on laminated surfaces and plastics, use steady feed speed and avoid overheating the blade.
