Circular Saw Blade KWB 583354 15 cm for Chipboard Hardwood Plastic
The KWB 583354 circular saw blade is a 150 mm tungsten carbide-tipped blade designed for precise, clean cuts in a range of sheet and solid materials. It features flutes for improved chip removal and faster cutting performance and is suitable for cordless circular hand saws as well as corded machines. The blade is intended for use on chipboard, hardwood, plastic, plywood and softwood, and is compatible with machines that accept a 16 mm bore.
Carbide-tipped teeth ensure long-lasting sharpness and consistent cutting quality. Fluted tooth geometry improves chip evacuation and allows higher feed rates. The 150 mm diameter and 16 mm bore make the blade compatible with many portable circular saws. The tooth design delivers precise, clean cuts suitable for finish work on laminated surfaces and solid wood.
Fit the blade to a compatible circular saw with a 16 mm arbor, ensuring the saw is unplugged or the battery is removed before installation. Tighten the blade according to the machine manufacturer’s instructions and check the blade direction arrow. Set an appropriate cutting depth and feed rate for the material—use slower feed and secure workpieces for dense hardwoods, and faster feed for thin sheet materials. Wear appropriate eye, ear and hand protection while operating the saw.
For best results on laminated or veneered surfaces, use a sacrificial backing board to reduce chipping at the exit edge. Inspect the blade before each use for damage or excessive wear and replace the blade when cuts become rough or burning occurs.
