Plunge cut blade KWB 708000
The KWB 708000 plunge cut blade is a set of seven precision blades designed for clean, controlled cutting in wood, plastic, metal and composite materials. Equipped with patented flutes for faster, higher-performance cutting and a quick-action chuck, this blade set is intended for tasks that require accurate plunge cuts and flush trimming across a variety of surfaces.
The patented flute geometry improves chip removal and cutting speed while the quick-action chuck enables rapid blade changes. The blades provide precise, burr-free cuts for parquet, laminate and sound-insulation boards, and allow flush trimming of door frames, protruding nails and copper pipes. They are durable for repeated use and suitable for both professional and DIY applications.
Install the plunge cut blade into a compatible oscillating or plunge-cut tool using the quick-action chuck according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Position the blade at the intended cut line and perform controlled plunge cuts or flush trims, using steady pressure and appropriate cutting speed for the material. For thin metal or non-ferrous metals, use light, even passes to avoid overheating; for laminate and parquet, support surrounding material to prevent chipping. Replace blades when cutting quality degrades.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) and secure the workpiece. Use blade speeds and feeds suitable for the material being cut, and follow the power tool manufacturer's safety guidelines. Store blades dry to avoid corrosion and replace blades when worn to maintain clean cuts.
