How to use

Preheat the carafe with hot water, then discard the water. Add medium-coarse ground coffee to the carafe (a common guideline is about 1 heaped tablespoon per 120–150 ml of water), pour hot water just off the boil, and stir gently. Place the stainless steel plunger assembly on top to retain heat and let the coffee steep for 3–4 minutes depending on desired strength. Press the plunger down slowly and evenly to separate grounds from the brewed coffee, then pour and serve.

Usage recommendations

Use freshly ground coffee and water at around 92–96 °C for best extraction. Rinse the mesh filter and plunger after each use to prevent buildup; disassemble and wash the glass carafe in the dishwasher if required. Avoid sudden temperature shocks to the glass carafe (for example, do not pour boiling water into a cold carafe) to extend product life.
