How to use

Preheat the French press with hot water, discard the rinse water, add coarsely ground coffee to the beaker, and pour hot water just off the boil to saturate the grounds. Stir gently, place the plunger assembly on top to retain heat without plunging, steep for the recommended 3–4 minutes depending on desired strength, then press the plunger down slowly and evenly to separate grounds from brewed coffee. Serve immediately to avoid over-extraction.

Usage recommendations

Use a coarse, even grind and a water temperature around 92–96°C for balanced extraction. Rinse the filter and plunger parts after each use and perform a more thorough cleaning periodically to remove oils. Avoid using extremely fine grounds to reduce sediment and extend filter life.
