Network junction box LANBERG PLC-6UL1-B — Cat6 U/UTP, black
LANBERG PLC-6UL1-B is a compact network junction box designed for Cat6 U/UTP (UTP) cabling. Finished in black, the enclosure provides a neat and protected space to terminate, splice and route Cat6 cables in small installations, wall-mounted network points and patching locations. The box accepts unshielded Cat6 connections and supports both T568A and T568B wiring schemes for flexible termination options.
The LANBERG junction box offers a small footprint and a simple exterior that fits standard residential and commercial installations, reducing clutter at termination points. Its design enables straightforward splicing and termination of Cat6 U/UTP cables while protecting connections from accidental strain and dust. The black finish provides a discreet appearance for wall or cabinet mounting, and the box is compatible with common Cat6 unshielded connectors and wiring standards.
Prepare the Cat6 cable by stripping the outer sheath and untwisting pairs only as much as required for termination or splicing. Place the prepared cable into the junction box and perform termination or connection using the appropriate unshielded connectors or punch-down terminals, following the chosen T568A or T568B pinout. Secure the cable to prevent strain and close the box to protect terminations from dust and mechanical impact. Ensure connections are tested with a cable tester to verify continuity and pair integrity.
Use the LANBERG PLC-6UL1-B in dry, indoor environments and avoid exposing the junction box to direct moisture or extreme temperatures. For best performance, keep untwisted pair length to a minimum during termination, and use a suitable cable tester after installation to confirm correct wiring and signal integrity.
