The LANCOM IAP-822 is a rugged industrial dual-band access point engineered for demanding environments. It supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation with combined wireless throughput up to 1000 Mbit/s, provides robust security features including 802.1X/RADIUS and AES, and is powered via Power over Ethernet. The full-metal housing and extended operating temperature range make it suitable for use in warehouses, covered outdoor areas, mobile machinery and other harsh conditions.

How to use

Install the IAP-822 at the required location and connect it to the network via an Ethernet cable that provides PoE power. Attach suitable external or sector antennas where needed to shape coverage; mounting under suspended ceilings is possible for discreet indoor installation. Verify security settings (802.1X, RADIUS, guest separation) according to your network policy before putting the access point into full operation.

Usage recommendations
