Access Point LANCOM LX-6400 WW Bulk 10 2.4 GHz 5 GHz
Access Point LANCOM LX-6400 WW Bulk 10 2.4 GHz 5 GHz
The LANCOM LX-6400 is a dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 access point designed for high-density environments and universal application purposes. It supports simultaneous operation in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with an aggregated datarate up to 3,550 Mbps, multi-user MIMO for downlink and uplink, OFDMA, Target Wake Time (TWT) for reduced client power consumption, and WPA3 security. The device can be powered via IEEE 802.3at PoE or an included power adapter and is manageable through the LANCOM Management Cloud.
The LANCOM LX-6400 delivers low latency and high throughput per client in crowded environments thanks to Wi‑Fi 6 features such as 4x4 MU‑MIMO, OFDMA and support for 160 MHz channel widths. TWT extends client battery life while band steering improves load distribution between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Integrated enterprise-grade security (including WPA3 and IEEE 802.1X) and flexible power options (PoE or external adapter) simplify deployment. Centralized management is available via the LANCOM Management Cloud.
Mount the access point at a central location appropriate for coverage and connect it to the network via an Ethernet cable. Power the unit using a PoE switch or the supplied power adapter. Register and manage the device through the LANCOM Management Cloud for centralized configuration and monitoring; alternatively, prepare for future WLAN controller (WLC) management when available. Configure SSIDs, security (WPA3 or WPA2 where required), band steering and other RF settings according to site requirements.
For optimal performance in high-density environments, enable OFDMA and MU‑MIMO, use 5 GHz for high-throughput clients with 160 MHz-capable terminals where supported, and apply band steering to balance load across bands. Use PoE where possible to simplify cabling and ensure the latest firmware and LANCOM Management Cloud policies are applied for security and stability.
