LANCOM LX-6212 (EU) is a dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 access point that provides concurrent operation on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with an aggregated data rate of up to 1,775 Mbps. Designed for enterprise and public WLANs, the LX-6212 supports PoE power, an integrated USB interface for IoT extensions, BLE 5.1, and advanced authentication methods including EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, WPA2-Enterprise and WPA3-Enterprise. The unit comes in a white housing with four adjustable omni-directional external antennas and can be mounted on ceilings or walls in offices, hotels, medical practices, schools, and other public environments.

Usage recommendations

For reliable high-throughput operation, deploy the LX-6212 with a PoE+ switch (IEEE 802.3at) and enable LANCOM Active Radio Control 2.0 where available to automate channel selection, power settings and load distribution. When covering areas with directional requirements, connect suitable ceiling, sector or directional antennas and adjust antenna alignment. For guest hotspots, operate the access point together with a Public Spot-capable LANCOM device or via the LANCOM Management Cloud to keep guest traffic isolated from the corporate network.
