The Laserliner AirflowTest-Master Pocket/hand-held Windmill is a compact anemometer for measuring wind speed and ambient conditions. It measures wind speed from 0.8 to 30 m/s and ambient temperature from -10 to 60 °C. The device includes an integrated sensor for relative humidity and dew point calculation, an internal memory for saving measured data, a large 65 mm impeller and an illuminated display that permanently shows ambient temperature and relative humidity. It is powered by a 9V battery and has a 1/4" tripod connection for long-term measurements, plus USB interface and PC software for real-time logging.

How to use

Insert a 9V battery and switch on the device. Position the anemometer so the impeller faces the airflow and, if needed, mount it on a 1/4" tripod for stable, long-term measurements. Use the display to read wind speed, ambient temperature and relative humidity; activate Min/Max or Hold to capture extreme or current values. Connect the unit via USB to a PC and run the supplied software for live data logging and to download stored measurements from internal memory.

Usage recommendations

For accurate wind speed readings, ensure the impeller is clean and rotates freely; avoid obstructing airflow with hands or body. Use tripod mounting for long-term monitoring and when measuring in variable wind conditions.
