Lee Filters CIRCPLGLS105 is a 105mm circular polarizer made from optical glass for use with compatible 105mm front holder systems. How to use

Attach the filter to a compatible 105 mm front holder (Lee 105 mm). Compose your shot and then rotate the polarizer element while observing through the viewfinder or on the camera monitor until the desired reduction of reflections or improvement in sky contrast is achieved. The effect is strongest when the camera is positioned roughly 90 degrees to the sun; rotation changes the filter factor and degree of polarization. Adjust exposure as needed to compensate for light loss caused by the filter.

Usage recommendations

Use the polarizer primarily for landscape, seascape and architectural scenes; avoid relying on it for images where uniform polarization is required across a very wide field of view (wide-angle shots near the sun may show uneven polarization). When shooting black-and-white and seeking dramatic skies, consider combining the polarizer with color filters designed for monochrome effects.
