Electrical distribution board accessory Legrand 406278 — 86×98×26 mm, 1 pc
Legrand 406278 is an electrical distribution board accessory sized 86 × 98 × 26 mm supplied as a single unit. It is designed to mount on the left-hand side of compatible modular devices and to provide a clean interface for remote tripping, busbar insertion and simple joining with the main device without tools. The accessory is intended for use with miniature circuit breakers, residual current breakers with overcurrent protection, residual current devices and remote trip isolating switches in residential and commercial distribution panels.
This accessory supports one remote tripping auxiliary per device and accepts a supply busbar, enabling organized wiring and compact installation. It is compatible with push-button remote tripping via a normally open contact and allows tool-free mechanical joining to the associated main device, reducing installation time. The component is suitable for systems operating from low voltage up to 415 V AC and occupies a single module width for space-efficient panel layouts.
Mount the accessory on the left-hand side of the target modular device following the distribution board layout. Insert the supply busbar where required and couple the accessory to the main device using the provided tool-free joining mechanism. Connect the remote tripping control via a normally open push-button circuit rated for the stated voltage range. Ensure wiring and terminations comply with local electrical codes and the device manufacturer’s installation instructions when integrating with MCBs, RCBOs, RCCBs or remote trip isolating switches.
Verify compatibility with the specific series and model of modular devices before installation. Use proper protective equipment and isolate power sources prior to making connections. For reliable operation, limit one remote tripping auxiliary per device and follow recommended wiring practices for AC voltages between 110 and 415 V.
