How to use

Switch the device on and press the ON/DIST button to take a single measurement. For continuous measurement, enable the continuous mode and move the device along the measurement path while observing live distance updates. Use the unit selection to toggle between meters, feet and inches. For digital documentation, enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet and connect the DISTO D1 to the DISTO Sketch app to transfer measurements and create sketches or annotated images.

Usage recommendations

For best accuracy, ensure the laser has a clear line of sight to the target. Use a contrasting surface or target plate for very long or low-reflectivity targets. Replace AAA batteries before long measuring sessions and store the device in a protective case to avoid damage when working at awkward angles.
