The Leica DISTO X3 Black 150 m is a robust laser distance meter designed for demanding jobsite conditions. It measures distances from 0.05 m up to 150 m with 1 mm accuracy, supports units in metres, feet and inches, and is powered by AA alkaline batteries. The compact housing (132 x 56 x 29 mm) is drop-tested to 2 m and rated IP65 for dust and water jet protection. A holster, hand loop and batteries are included.

How to use

Switch on the Leica DISTO X3 and select the desired measuring unit. Aim the device at the target and press the measurement button; the rotatable display will automatically orient to the current measurement direction. For point-to-point measurements, enable the DST 360 function to measure the distance between two target points from a single position. After finishing, turn the device off manually or wait for the automatic power-off to conserve battery.

Usage recommendations

Keep the laser lens and housing clean and free of dust for accurate results. Use the supplied holster and hand loop to protect the device on sites, and carry spare AA batteries when working for extended periods. For scaled floor plans, use the Leica DISTO Plan app (in-app purchases may apply).
