Leitz Plastic Lever Arch File A4 80mm 180° Black

The Leitz Plastic Lever Arch File A4 80mm 180° Black is a reliable document archiving solution designed to help you maintain an orderly filing system in any professional, educational, or home environment. Built to withstand daily handling, this lever arch file combines a durable structure with a practical black finish for a clean, professional look. Featuring an innovative 180° mechanism, it allows for wider opening and faster filing, enabling you to insert and retrieve documents from either side with ease. With an 80mm spine width, the file securely accommodates up to 600 sheets of A4 paper, making it an essential tool for managing large volumes of paperwork efficiently.

Advantages

This file stands out due to its patented 180° mechanism, which significantly reduces filing time and ensures long-lasting mechanical reliability through rigorous cycle testing. The durable exterior material protects stored papers from dust, moisture, and everyday wear and tear. Additionally, the generous capacity allows for consolidated storage of thick reports, invoices, or study notes, reducing the total number of binders needed on your shelves. Standard dimensions ensure compatibility with existing shelving units and storage boxes.

Suitable for

• Archiving monthly financial reports and invoices in an office
• Organizing school and university lecture notes by subject
• Storing household utility bills, warranties, and important personal documents
• Managing project documentation and client records

When it may not be suitable

This lever arch file may not be the ideal choice if you only need to store a very small number of loose sheets, as thinner folders or document wallets are more space-efficient for minimal paperwork. It is also not suited for carrying loose items that cannot be hole-punched or secured within a standard two-ring mechanism.

For efficient organization, utilize self-adhesive spine labels to categorize and identify the contents of each binder quickly when stored on a shelf.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure your documents are in A4 format and compatible with standard two-hole punching
• Verify that your shelf height and depth match the dimensions of the file
• Evaluate your document volume to confirm whether an 80mm spine is appropriate for your storage needs

Usage recommendations: Store the lever arch file in an upright position on a stable, dry shelf to prevent warping over time. Avoid overloading beyond the recommended 600-sheet capacity to ensure the mechanism closes correctly and lasts longer.
