Leitz Plus Desk Mat Transparent Polyvinyl chloride 530 x 400 mm

Protect your workspace efficiently with the Leitz Plus desk mat. Crafted from durable transparent polyvinyl chloride, this accessory measures 530 by 400 millimeters, offering a reliable surface for daily office tasks, writing, and mouse use while keeping your desk underneath fully visible. It features a frosty non-reflective transparent foil that provides a comfortable writing surface and complements the modern office environment.

Advantages

The desk mat effectively safeguards your desk surface from scratches, spills, and everyday wear and tear. Its transparent design ensures that notes, calendars, and photos placed underneath remain clearly visible and easy to reference at all times. The non-reflective surface reduces glare from overhead lighting, improving visual comfort during long working hours. Additionally, it provides a smooth and stable base for both writing by hand and navigating with a computer mouse, enhancing overall daily productivity.

Suitable for

• Protecting office desks and home workspaces from daily wear
• Writing notes and signing documents on a smooth surface
• Using a computer mouse with consistent tracking
• Displaying important notes, calendars, or reference sheets underneath the mat

When it may not be suitable

This desk mat may not be the ideal choice if you require a heavily cushioned or padded leather desk surface for specialized drafting work. It is also not suitable for glass or highly polished wooden desks where trapped moisture might cause visual condensation marks, requiring periodic lifting and cleaning.

Key specifications

• Transparent polyvinyl chloride construction
• Width of 530 mm
• Depth of 400 mm
• Frosty non-reflective foil finish
• Design coordinated with the Leitz Plus desktop filing range

How to use

Place the desk mat flat on a clean and dry desk surface with the textured or frosty side facing upwards. Position it directly in front of your seating area where you perform most of your daily writing, typing, and paperwork tasks. Ensure the entire bottom surface makes full contact with the desk to prevent slipping during use.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your desk dimensions can accommodate the 530 by 400 millimeter footprint
• Check whether you prefer a transparent mat that shows the desk surface underneath
• Confirm if the non-reflective frosty finish matches your lighting conditions and aesthetic preferences

Keep the desk mat clean by wiping it regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap, avoiding harsh chemical solvents that could damage the polyvinyl chloride material.
