Description

The LevelOne DSK-8001 wired video surveillance kit includes four 720p cameras and an eight-channel DVR to provide continuous monitoring for homes or business premises. Cameras use 1/4" 720P progressive-scan CMOS sensors with 3.6 mm lenses and M12 mounts, feature built-in infrared LEDs for night vision, and are housed in IP66-rated weatherproof enclosures. The DVR supports multiple analog formats, local HDD storage up to 6 TB (HDD not included), and remote viewing via iPhone/Android devices.

Advantages

The system delivers megapixel 1280 x 720 resolution and is compatible with HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI and CVBS analog cameras. It uses H.264 compression for efficient storage and transfer, provides VGA and HDMI video outputs, and includes a USB port for backup, firmware upgrade or mouse. Cameras operate in a wide temperature range and offer night monitoring using infrared LEDs. The kit supports wired Ethernet connectivity for the DVR and remote access over the Internet.

How to use

Mount the cameras at chosen indoor or outdoor locations using the M12 lens mount and secure brackets. Connect each camera via coaxial/BNC cable to the DVR inputs and connect the DVR to a monitor using VGA or HDMI. Install a suitable 3.5" HDD in the DVR bay if local recording is required. Power each camera and the DVR with DC 12 V supplies, and connect the DVR to a router via RJ45 for remote viewing. Use the included software or mobile app on an iPhone/Android device to configure remote access, recording schedules and motion detection as needed.
