Active DisplayPort to HDMI Cable Lindy 0.5m
The Lindy 0.5m Active DisplayPort to HDMI Cable provides an active conversion from DisplayPort to HDMI, enabling connection of DisplayPort-equipped graphics cards, laptops and PCs to HDMI displays or projectors. The cable includes an integrated chipset to improve compatibility with both dual-mode (DP++) and non-dual-mode sources, and supports up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz with High Dynamic Range (HDR) and uncompressed multi-channel audio when the source supports audio over DisplayPort. The product is RoHS compliant and comes in a 0.5 m black cable with a DisplayPort connector on one end and a standard HDMI Type A connector on the other.
The active in-built chipset ensures reliable signal conversion and wider compatibility across DP graphics cards and source devices, avoiding the need for external adapters. Support for 4K@60Hz and HDR delivers higher resolution, improved contrast and more accurate colours, while uncompressed multi-channel audio enables surround sound over HDMI where supported. The compact 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter and the standard HDMI Type A connector provides broad display compatibility.
Plug the DisplayPort end into the DisplayPort output of your graphics card, laptop or PC and connect the HDMI Type A end to the HDMI input of your monitor or projector. Ensure the source device is set to output via DisplayPort and configure the display settings to the desired resolution and refresh rate (up to 4096×2160 @ 60 Hz). If audio is required over HDMI, verify that the source’s graphics adapter supports audio over DisplayPort and select the HDMI audio output in the operating system sound settings. For sources that do not support audio over DisplayPort, use a separate audio connection.
Some graphics drivers — notably certain recent NVIDIA drivers — may not output full 4k@60Hz 4:4:4 chroma when converting from DisplayPort to HDMI and may fall back to 4:2:2. If signalling or audio issues occur, update the graphics driver to the latest compatible version or test alternative driver releases. For notebooks or onboard graphics that do not support audio over DisplayPort (for example some Mobile Intel chipsets), prepare a dedicated audio connection.
