The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable extends USB 3.0 Type A connections by 3 m using built-in active electronics while maintaining data rates up to 5 Gbps. With a USB A male and USB A female connector it enables longer-distance connections for Type A devices such as external storage, webcams and other peripherals to PCs, laptops and tablets, while allowing flexible positioning.

Advantages

The active electronics preserve USB 3.0 performance over the additional 3 m extension. Slim Type A connectors and a low-profile cable design allow installation in confined spaces where bulky active extenders would not fit. The cable is bus-powered and also offers a DC socket for an external power supply when connecting power-hungry devices or chaining multiple extensions. Plug-and-play operation requires no driver installation.
