It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referred to as USB 3.0 / 3.1 Gen 1) with maximum theoretical transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. The cable is finished in black and is intended to extend USB ports when direct connection is impractical.
