Camera Case Lowepro HARDSIDE CS 40 — hard-shell protective case, 162×103×65 mm, black/orange

Lowepro HARDSIDE CS 40 is a compact hard-shell protective case sized 162×103×65 mm designed for small mirrorless cameras, compact system cameras, point‑and‑shoot models, action cameras and similar electronic devices. The rigid FormShell™ composite exterior resists knocks and pressure while the cushioned foam interior and stretch pocket absorb shocks and keep gear in place. The two‑tone black and orange finish provides clear visual contrast for quick identification, and the external grab handle makes it simple to carry or stow inside a larger bag for travel or daily transport.

Advantages

The FormShell™ hard exterior provides lightweight but rigid protection against impacts and compression, and the internal foam and stretch pocket add an extra layer of cushioning. Customizable removable dividers let you arrange the interior to fit a variety of small cameras, action cameras or other electronics, while dual zippers provide fast and reliable access. The compact dimensions make the case easy to pack, and the neutral brand compatibility means it fits devices from any manufacturer.

Close the dual zippers to secure the contents and use the external grab handle for short‑distance carrying or to place the case inside a larger bag for travel. Verify that the device fits comfortably before subjecting the case to impacts or tight packing.

Usage recommendations

Store delicate optics and electronics with the camera oriented to minimize pressure on buttons and screens. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat or moisture and regularly inspect the zippers and interior padding for wear. For transport in checked luggage or in situations with heavy compression, place the HARDSIDE CS 40 inside a larger protective bag or suitcase to add an extra layer of protection.
