Car battery charger LTC LX1212 microprocessor automatic charger 12V 10A / 24V 5A
The LTC LX1212 microprocessor automatic charger is designed for safe and controlled charging of lead-acid vehicle batteries. It supports 12V charging with up to 10A output and 24V charging with up to 5A output, using microprocessor-managed charging algorithms to regulate current and voltage. The charger provides automatic mode switching, overcharge protection and reverse polarity protection to reduce the risk of battery damage and simplify routine charging and maintenance.
The microprocessor control ensures adaptive charging stages and precise voltage regulation for reliable battery recovery and maintenance. Built-in protections prevent overcharging and protect against incorrect cable connection. Dual-voltage capability allows use with both 12V and 24V lead-acid batteries, and selectable current levels provide suitable charging rates for different battery capacities. Compact design and clear status indication make the device convenient for workshop and domestic use.
Connect the charger to the battery following polarity markings: positive clamp to battery positive and negative clamp to battery negative. Select the appropriate output voltage (12V or 24V) and the recommended current level for the battery capacity. Power the unit from a mains outlet; the microprocessor will manage the charging cycle automatically and switch through charging stages as required. Monitor the charger status indicators during the process and disconnect the unit once charging is complete or when the charger indicates maintenance mode.
Use the charger in a dry, well-ventilated area and avoid exposure to direct moisture. Verify that the battery type is compatible with lead-acid charging modes before connecting. For long-term battery storage, use lower current maintenance charging and periodically check battery voltage. If the battery shows physical damage or severe sulfation, inspect or replace the battery rather than relying solely on recharging.
