Maclean MC-195 Folding Wall Shelf Bracket Set, 300 to 600 mm, 50 kg Capacity, 2 Pieces

The Maclean MC-195 folding wall shelf bracket set includes two pieces designed to provide versatile and space-saving storage solutions for various rooms in your home or workspace. Featuring a sturdy construction and a practical folding mechanism, these brackets allow you to easily create functional surfaces that can be folded down flat against the wall when they are no longer needed. Whether you want to set up an extra work surface in the garage, a compact dining area in the kitchen, or a convenient display shelf in the living room, this hardware set delivers reliable support.

Advantages

The primary advantage of this bracket set is the adjustable arm length, which can be configured from 300 mm to 600 mm to accommodate various shelf depths and spatial requirements. With a robust maximum load capacity of 50 kg per set, they provide dependable stability for heavier items, tools, or appliances. The space-saving folding design makes them particularly valuable in rooms with limited floor space, as the surface can be completely tucked away when not in use. Additionally, the set includes two matching brackets for balanced support and straightforward installation.

Suitable for

• Creating fold-down workbenches in garages and workshops
• Building space-saving drop-leaf desks in home offices or bedrooms
• Installing folding kitchen tables or extended food preparation counters
• Adding adjustable shelving units in utility rooms and pantries

These brackets may not be suitable for permanent heavy-duty industrial applications requiring continuous maximum load support beyond 50 kg, or for installation on weak interior partition walls without adequate structural reinforcement.

Key specifications

• Set includes two folding wall shelf brackets
• Adjustable arm length ranging from 300 mm to 600 mm
• Maximum load capacity of 50 kg
• Suitable for residential and workshop use

To use the brackets, first select a suitable wall surface and ensure that appropriate mounting hardware is chosen based on your wall material. Fasten the vertical mounting plate securely to the wall using screws and anchors, making sure it is properly leveled. Attach your chosen shelf board to the horizontal support arms, securing it from underneath through the designated screw holes. To fold the shelf down, simply press the release latch on both support arms simultaneously and lower the surface gently against the wall.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your wall type can safely support a 50 kg load combined with the weight of the shelf
• Measure your available space to ensure the adjustable 300 mm to 600 mm arm length fits your intended application
• Ensure you have compatible screws and wall anchors suitable for your specific wall structure, as standard fixings may not be included
• Select a durable and appropriately thick shelf board to prevent sagging between the two brackets

Usage recommendations: For optimal safety and stability, always install both brackets into solid wall studs or masonry using heavy-duty fixings, and do not exceed the 50 kg weight limit. Ensure the release mechanism is completely clear of obstacles before folding the shelf.
