Ceiling light MACLEAN MCE324 with PIR motion sensor, 2x40W E27 sockets
Ceiling light MACLEAN MCE324 with PIR motion sensor, 2x40W E27 sockets
Ceiling light MACLEAN MCE324 is a fixed indoor ceiling fixture with an integrated PIR motion sensor and two E27 lamp holders. The fitting supports two bulbs up to 40W each and is compatible with both incandescent and LED E27 lamps, providing automatic illumination when movement is detected. Designed for corridors, entryways and utility spaces, this ceiling light offers hands-free operation and straightforward installation to the indoor lighting circuit.
The built-in PIR motion sensor enables automatic on/off control, reducing the need to operate a wall switch and improving convenience in frequently used passage areas. Twin E27 sockets provide flexibility to choose lamp type and light output, including energy-saving LED options. The compact, fixed ceiling design allows installation on standard indoor ceilings and delivers reliable, maintenance-light performance for everyday use.
Install the ceiling light on a stable indoor ceiling following local electrical regulations and disconnect power before beginning installation. Connect the fixture to the mains supply and mount it securely; after power is restored, the PIR sensor will turn the lamps on automatically when movement is detected within its coverage area and switch them off after the sensor delay interval. Use appropriate E27 bulbs with total wattage not exceeding the specified maximum and ensure LED bulbs are suitable for enclosed fittings if applicable.
Position the unit to avoid direct exposure of the PIR sensor to heat sources or moving objects unrelated to human presence (for example, air vents or small pets) to reduce false triggers. For energy efficiency, install LED E27 bulbs with suitable lumen output and colour temperature for the intended space. Periodically check that the sensor area is free of dust and obstructions and replace bulbs according to manufacturer guidance.
