Makita 95VPX is a solid chainsaw guide bar designed for reliable cutting performance. With a 33 cm (13") bar length and a 3/8" pitch compatible with common chainsaw chains, this guide bar is engineered to fit a range of petrol and electric chainsaw models that accept this bar size and pitch. Its solid construction provides stable chain tracking and consistent contact with the wood, helping maintain cutting accuracy and control.
The solid design reduces bar flex under load, improving chain guidance and reducing the chance of kickback due to uneven wear. Precision-machined rails and a durable finish prolong service life while facilitating smoother operation. Its 33 cm length offers a balance between maneuverability and cutting capacity, making it suitable for pruning, limbing and light felling tasks. The 3/8" pitch specification ensures compatibility with a wide selection of replacement chains.
Install the Makita 95VPX guide bar following the chainsaw manufacturer's instructions: ensure the engine is off and the spark plug or battery is disconnected, remove the clutch cover and chain, fit the bar onto the mounting studs, align the chain on the bar rails and reinstall the chain and cover. Adjust chain tension so it moves freely by hand but has no sag from the underside of the bar. Regularly check tension, lubrication and sprocket nose condition during use, and follow safe chainsaw operation practices when cutting.
For best performance, use chains sized for 3/8" pitch and the appropriate gauge for your saw, maintain proper chain tension and chain oil supply, and inspect the bar regularly for wear on the rails and tip. Replace the bar if you observe severe bending, groove wear or damage to the nose sprocket. Consult your chainsaw manual for specific compatibility and mounting details.
