Jigsaw Makita 4351CTJ 720 W — cutting depth wood 135 mm, stroke 26 mm, 2.5 kg
The Makita 4351CTJ corded jigsaw delivers a 720 W motor and variable-speed control for precise handheld cutting in woodworking, renovation and installation work. With a no-load stroke rate adjustable from 800 to 2,800 spm and a 26 mm stroke length, it achieves up to 135 mm cutting depth in wood and 10 mm in non-alloyed steel. The tool's compact design and 2.5 kg weight make it suitable for extended use while the built-in LED light and dust blower help maintain a clear line of cut for better accuracy.
The jigsaw incorporates electronic speed control to keep cutting speed steady under load and a soft start feature for smooth power-up. A tool-less blade change system accepts tang shank blades for quick installation and removal. The ergonomically designed rubberized barrel grip sits closer to the work surface for increased control, while the die-cast aluminum base offers bevel adjustment up to 45° left or right with a positive stop at 90°. The unit also provides 40% less tool vibration and operates at the lowest noise level in its class, improving comfort and control during prolonged use.
Set the variable speed dial to match the material and blade type, and use the orbital setting selection for faster, more aggressive cuts or straight cutting for finer finishes. Secure the workpiece before cutting and position the rubberized barrel grip close to the surface for better control. Use the tool-less blade change system to install tang shank blades quickly, and adjust the die-cast aluminum base to the required bevel angle, locking it in place with the onboard hex wrench if necessary. Turn on the LED light and dust blower as needed to keep the cut line visible and clear of debris.
For best results, choose a blade matched to the material and intended cut (fine-tooth blades for smooth finishes, coarse-tooth or aggressive blades for fast ripping). Start cutting at lower speed to align the cut, then increase speed as appropriate. Maintain firm, steady feed pressure without forcing the tool; allow the electronic speed control to maintain consistent performance under load. Regularly check blade condition and replace when worn to preserve cutting accuracy and reduce vibration.
