Circular saw blade Makita MakBlade Plus 260 mm, 30 mm bore, 1.8 mm thickness, 1 pc
Makita MakBlade Plus circular saw blade, 260 mm diameter with a 30 mm bore and 1.8 mm plate thickness, supplied as a single unit for installation on compatible circular saws. This blade is intended for general-purpose cutting of solid wood, plywood and other wood-based panels. Its dimensions and medium plate thickness provide a compromise between cutting precision and resistance to bending during normal workshop and site tasks.
The 260 mm diameter and 30 mm bore fit many common circular saw models, permitting quick mounting and stable runout. The 1.8 mm plate thickness reduces vibration and deflection while maintaining acceptable kerf width for efficient material removal. The blade’s tooth geometry and high tooth count provide smooth cuts on wood and wood-based materials and help reduce tear-out on veneered surfaces.
Ensure the circular saw is disconnected from power before mounting the blade. Fit the blade to the saw’s arbor so that the rotation direction stamped on the blade matches the saw’s rotation. Tighten the arbor flange according to the saw manufacturer’s torque specification. Set appropriate cutting speed and feed rate for the material: use slower feed for harder or veneered boards to minimise chipping. After cutting, allow the blade to come to a complete stop before removing guards or touching the blade.
For best results, use the blade on sharp, clean saw machines and inspect workpieces for nails or metal inserts before cutting. Replace the blade if excessive wear, missing teeth or deformation are observed. Use appropriate personal protective equipment — eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask — when cutting wood and wood-based panels.
