Hole Saw Makita E-06828 — 1 piece, compatible with drill drivers
Makita E-06828 hole saw supplied as a single-piece pack. Designed for use with drill drivers and hole-saw arbors to cut circular openings in materials compatible with the blade type. This hole saw is suitable for creating openings for pipes, cable entries, ventilation ducts and other circular penetrations where a hole saw is required. Supplied quantity: 1 pc.
The hole saw features a tungsten carbide tip for enhanced cutting performance and extended edge life when working with a range of materials. The construction and cutting geometry allow efficient material removal in wood, non-ferrous metals, aluminium and stainless steel, as well as softer masonry and plastic. Intended for use with a standard driver drill or drill stand, the tool offers precise circular cuts when used at the recommended speeds and with appropriate lubrication for metal cutting.
Install the hole saw on a compatible arbor and secure it to a driver drill or drill stand. Mark the center point of the required opening and, if available, use a pilot bit to guide the cut. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed as appropriate for the material while maintaining steady pressure. For metal cutting, apply cutting oil to the cutting edge and pause periodically to clear chips and avoid overheating. Do not use the hole saw with an impact function or hammer drill.
For best results, select an appropriate rotational speed for the material, use coolant or cutting oil when working with metals, and clamp the workpiece securely. Replace the hole saw if the carbide tip shows significant wear or chipping. Follow safety practices including eye protection, gloves, and ensuring the drill is operated at steady speed without impact mode.
