The Makita SK105DZ is a cordless cross-line laser level for horizontal and vertical layout work. It produces bright red lines for level, align and plumb applications, features self-levelling, and is designed with Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) to resist dust and water ingress. The unit offers a practical working range for indoor installation and renovation tasks and is compatible with the 12V max CXT® battery platform; an 18V LXT® battery can be used with an adapter (sold separately).

Advantages

Makita XPT™ sealing increases durability in harsher jobsite conditions by channeling away dust and water. The SK105DZ emits a 635 nm class II red laser with accuracy of approximately ±3 mm/m, produces 180° horizontal and 160° vertical line coverage, and self-levels quickly (stabilises within about 3 seconds) to speed up layout tasks. It is compact and can run on 12V max CXT® batteries; longer runtimes are possible with higher-capacity 12V CXT® cells.

When it may not be suitable

It is not intended to replace high-power outdoor rotary lasers for long-range site surveying.

How to use
