The Manfrotto MK190XPRO4-BHQ2 kit includes the compact 190XPRO4 four-section aluminium tripod and the MHXPRO-BHQ2 XPRO ball head, both manufactured in Italy by Manfrotto. The tripod supports digital and film cameras with a maximum load of 7 kg, reaches a maximum height of 1715 mm and weighs 2.55 kg. Its design combines a 90° centre column for vertical and horizontal positioning, quick leg adjustment levers, an integrated bubble level and an Easy Link connector for accessories.

Advantages

The 90° centre column mechanism allows rapid switching between vertical and horizontal column orientations without disassembly and can be adjusted with a camera attached. Quick Power Lock (QPL) levers provide fast single-handed extension and stronger, more secure leg section locking. Independent leg angle selectors offer stable and precise positioning. The ball head features a triple locking system for camera stability, friction control for balanced movement, two levelling bubbles for accurate framing and polymer rings to replace grease for smoother motion. The tripod top casting includes an Easy Link connector for mounting lights or other accessories.

How to use

Extend the tripod legs and lock each section using the Quick Power Lock levers. Select the desired leg angles using the leg angle selectors. To change the centre column orientation, use the 90° centre column mechanism housed in the top casting and rotate the column between vertical and horizontal positions; this can be done with the camera mounted. Mount the MHXPRO-BHQ2 ball head onto the tripod top and secure the camera plate to your camera, then use the ball head’s friction control and locking knobs to balance and lock the camera position. Use the built-in bubble level(s) to ensure precise framing.
