USB Cable, Manhattan USB-A to USB-B, 11m, Male to Male, Active, 480 Mbps
The MANHATTAN USB-A to USB-B Cable (11 m) is an active USB 2.0 extension cable with male-to-male connectors that supports data transfer speeds up to 480 Mbps. Designed with a built-in repeater, the cable overcomes the standard 5 m USB distance limitation to provide a single, nondaisy-chainable extension up to 11 m. The cable has a translucent silver finish and is compatible with Windows and Mac systems; it is bus-powered and does not require an external power supply.
The built-in repeater preserves Hi-Speed USB signal quality and maintains electrical and timing specifications over extended distance. As a plug-and-play solution, the cable supports reliable connections to USB devices such as printers without additional drivers or power. Its 11 m length allows placement of USB peripherals farther from the host while retaining USB 2.0 speeds up to 480 Mbps.
Connect the USB-A end to the host computer and the USB-B end to the peripheral device. The active repeater within the cable automatically conditions the signal to maintain Hi-Speed USB performance over the 11 m length. No drivers or external power supply are required for typical bus-powered devices; simply plug both ends and confirm the host recognizes the peripheral.
For best results, avoid connecting this cable in a daisy-chain with other USB extenders or hubs. Use for single-run extensions up to 11 m and verify device compatibility with USB 2.0 Hi-Speed; some high-current peripherals may require a powered USB solution.
