HDMI to DVI-D Cable Manhattan HDMIDVIMM6 1.8m Male to Male Black
The Manhattan HDMI to DVI-D 24+1 cable (1.8 m) provides a direct digital connection between HDMI-equipped sources and DVI-D displays. Constructed with full foil and braided shielding, moulded boots with strain relief, a protective PVC jacket and gold-plated contacts, it is designed to deliver clear, accurate video with reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable supports dual-link DVI where applicable and is suitable for connecting HDTVs, monitors, projectors and media players.
The cable's gold-plated connectors and robust shielding improve conductivity and minimise signal loss and EMI-related distortion. Moulded strain-relief boots and a protective PVC jacket increase durability during repeated handling and installation. Its 1.8 m length and lightweight design make it practical for standard AV setups where an HDMI source must connect to a DVI-D input.
Align the HDMI Type A plug with the HDMI output on your source device and the DVI-D plug with the DVI input on your display, then insert both connectors firmly until seated. Use the cable to transmit digital video signals; note that DVI-D carries video only, so audio must be routed separately if required. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and secure any equipment to prevent strain on the connections.
For optimal performance, keep the cable length appropriate for your setup (this 1.8 m cable is suited to short to medium distances), avoid running the cable parallel to power lines to reduce interference, and check device settings to ensure output resolution and refresh rate are compatible with the connected display.
