Reflector Mantona 18082 Round Black Gold Silver White 11 cm
The Mantona 18082 Round Reflector is a compact photographic accessory with an 11 cm diameter available in four surface finishes: black, gold, silver and white. Designed to modify and control light in studio and on-location photography, this round reflector helps shape contrast, add warmth or coolness to subjects, and fill shadows in close-up and portrait work. Its small size and light weight make it suitable for handheld use, attachment to small support systems, or placement in tight spaces where larger reflectors would be impractical.
This reflector offers quick, predictable changes to lighting: the black surface absorbs stray light and increases contrast, the gold surface adds warm tones, the silver surface increases specular highlights and reflectivity, and the white surface provides soft, neutral fill. The compact 11 cm diameter allows precise control of light direction and intensity near the subject while remaining portable for travel and fast setup. Constructed for photographic use, it integrates easily with common reflector holders and grips.
Position the reflector so its surface faces the light source and directs reflected light toward the subject to achieve the desired effect. Use the white surface for soft, neutral fill; the silver surface for stronger, crisp highlights; the gold surface to introduce warm tones; and the black surface to reduce unwanted reflections and increase contrast. For close-up work, hold the reflector close to the subject or mount it on a small clamp or flexible arm; adjust angle and distance incrementally until the lighting balance is correct. When working with continuous or flash lighting, check exposure and white balance after placing the reflector and adjust camera settings as needed.
For controlled results, test each finish at the working distance and angle you plan to use. When using the gold finish with skin tones, verify white balance to avoid color casts that require correction in post-processing. Store the reflector flat or in a dedicated pouch to prevent surface creasing or marks that could affect reflectivity.
