The Colour Filter Set from walimex includes twelve 30×30 cm colour foils in a range of hues: deep yellow, yellow, golden amber, light amber, primary red, light scarlet, deep purple rose, medium purple rose, deep blue, light blue, dark green and medium green. The foils are intended for creating coloured effect lights and colourful illumination of studio or stage backgrounds and can be mounted in front of spotlights, reflectors, flashes and similar lighting devices.

How to use

Place a chosen foil in front of the light source so the entire beam passes through the coloured material. Secure the foil around the fixture with adhesive paste, a rubber band, clips or another suitable fastener, ensuring it is held safely and does not touch hot lamp surfaces. Position the light to achieve the desired intensity and colour spread on the background or subject. Foils can be swapped quickly to change colour effects.

Usage recommendations

Do not allow the foil to contact hot bulbs or open flames; keep a safe distance between foil and heat source. Test mounting and exposure times with your specific lights to avoid melting or discoloration and to achieve consistent colour rendering. Store foils flat to prevent creasing.
