Reflector Massa Blenda Owalna 92x122 cm 5-in-1 — oval studio reflector with 5 surfaces
The Massa Blenda Owalna 92x122 cm 5-in-1 is an oval studio reflector designed to shape and control light for photography and video. With five interchangeable surfaces—typically silver, gold, white, black and translucent—this reflector lets you adjust contrast, modify color temperature and diffuse direct light. Its 92 x 122 cm oval shape provides a balance between coverage and portability, making it useful for portrait, product and small-scale studio shoots where precise light control is needed.
The five-surface system provides flexible lighting options without changing fixtures: silver for increased contrast and specular highlights, gold for warmer tones, white for soft neutral fill, black for subtracting light and creating deeper shadows, and translucent for soft diffusion of harsh light. The oval shape offers a natural catchlight for portraiture and smoother transitions in falloff compared with rectangular reflectors. Lightweight construction and a foldable frame make it compact to transport and quick to set up on location or in the studio.
The Massa 92x122 cm reflector is not intended to replace large diffusion panels or softboxes when very broad, extremely soft light is required for full-body or large-group portraits. It may also be less suitable if you need motorized or permanently mounted light-shaping solutions integrated into studio fixtures.
Select the appropriate surface for the desired effect and position the reflector to redirect or modify the existing light source. Use the silver side to increase contrast and specular highlights, the gold side to add warmth, the white side for neutral soft fill, the black side to absorb or block unwanted spill and deepen shadows, and the translucent panel to diffuse a strong light source. For portraits, position the reflector slightly below or to the side of the subject to produce natural-looking catchlights and softer facial shadows. Secure the reflector in a handheld grip, clamp it to a stand or mount it on a boom arm depending on the shoot requirements.
For consistent results, test each surface under your actual lighting conditions before a session and position the reflector to control both intensity and angle of the returned light. When using the translucent panel outdoors, place it between the sun and subject to create even, soft illumination; when using metallic surfaces, watch for unwanted specular hotspots and adjust distance or angle to moderate highlights.
