Softbox reflector oval 100×150 cm 5-in-1 Massa Blenda Owalna SB807
The Massa Blenda Owalna SB807 is an oval softbox reflector measuring 100×150 cm with a 5-in-1 set of interchangeable surfaces. Designed for studio and on-location photography, this large oval softbox produces broad, even, and soft illumination that helps shape light for portraits, fashion, and product photography. The set includes diffusion fabric plus silver, gold, white, and black reflector surfaces to adapt contrast and color temperature control for a variety of shooting situations.
The oval shape yields a natural catchlight and more directional wrap than round or rectangular modifiers while maintaining a soft falloff. The included diffusion panel evenly scatters light to reduce harsh shadows and specular highlights. Interchangeable inner surfaces (silver, gold, white, black) allow fast adjustments of light contrast, warmth, and specular quality without changing modifiers. The large 100×150 cm size provides broad coverage for full-length portraits, group shots, and larger product sets.
Mount the softbox onto a compatible speedring or adapter for your studio strobe or continuous light head and secure the fabric panels according to the instructions. Begin with the diffusion panel attached to create a soft, even base light. Swap the inner reflector surface to silver for increased contrast and specular highlights, white for neutral, low-contrast fill, gold for warmer tones, or black to reduce spill and increase contrast. Position the softbox relative to the subject to control wrap and shadow direction; moving it closer increases softness and coverage, while moving it farther increases falloff and contrast.
For portraits, place the oval softbox slightly above eye level and angled down to produce natural catchlights and soft modeling. Use the silver insert for fashion/editorial looks that need more specular detail, and the diffusion-only setup when you need the softest possible light. When shooting on location, pack the softbox in a protective case and use sandbags on light stands to secure the setup in wind-prone environments.
