Padlock MEGA 24050 brass body 50 mm with 3 keys
Padlock MEGA 24050 brass body 50 mm with 3 keys is a compact mechanical lock designed for moderate security needs. The lock features a 50 mm solid brass body and a hardened shackle, supplied with three identical keys. Its materials provide corrosion resistance suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor use where a reliable, low-maintenance padlock is required.
The brass body offers natural resistance to rust and general wear, extending service life in humid or variable environments. The hardened shackle increases cut and abrasion resistance compared with non-hardened alternatives. Supplied with three keys, the set allows multiple users or a spare key without additional purchases. The lock’s compact dimensions make it suitable for confined mounting points while maintaining a straightforward mechanical cylinder that is easy to operate and maintain.
Insert one of the supplied keys into the cylinder and turn to retract the shackle. Place the shackle through the hasp or chain link, then push the shackle into the body until it clicks and the key returns to the neutral position. To lock, remove the key and check that the shackle is seated securely. Keep the spare keys in a safe place and avoid forcing the key if it does not turn smoothly; applying light graphite lubricant into the keyway can improve operation without attracting dirt.
For prolonged outdoor exposure, mount the padlock in a sheltered position when possible and perform periodic light maintenance: wipe off dirt, apply a small amount of graphite or silicone-based lubricant to the cylinder, and inspect the shackle and body for signs of corrosion or wear. Do not use excessive force on the key or shackle to avoid damaging the locking cylinder.
