Filament spool MEGA Verbatim ABS 1.75 mm 1 kg Green
MEGA Verbatim ABS filament spool in green is a 1.75 mm thermoplastic filament with a net weight of 1 kg designed for FDM/FFF desktop 3D printers. Made from high-performance Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), this filament offers high rigidity and a glossy surface finish suitable for producing functional parts, prototype models and enclosures. It is compatible with any desktop 3D printer that accepts 1.75 mm filament and supports common post-processing techniques such as sanding and gluing.
The ABS formulation delivers high rigidity and medium impact resistance while preserving a high-gloss appearance after printing. The material is resistant to grease and allows effective post-printing workability including sanding, trimming and adhesive bonding. As a widely supported thermoplastic for material extrusion, this filament is compatible across brands and printer models that use 1.75 mm filament.
Load the 1.75 mm spool into the filament holder of your FDM/FFF printer and feed the filament through the extruder according to your printer manufacturer’s instructions. Recommended extrusion temperatures for ABS typically range between 220–250 °C; bed temperatures between 80–110 °C and use of a heated and enclosed build chamber can reduce warping. Calibrate first layer height and flow settings, print a small test piece to confirm adhesion and adjust cooling to minimal levels to maintain interlayer bonding. Ventilation is advised because ABS gives off a noticeable odour during printing.
For best results, use a heated bed with adhesion aids (PEI sheet, ABS slurry or glue stick), enable a brim or raft for larger parts, and allow gradual cooling in an enclosed chamber to minimise warping and layer separation.
