Meike battery grip for Canon 20D, 30D, 40D and 50D attaches to the camera base to extend battery life and improve handling when shooting in vertical (portrait) orientation. The grip accepts Canon BP-511A, BP-511, BP-512 and BP-514 batteries in one- or two-battery configuration, and can also operate from six AA batteries. It adds a vertical shutter release and controls to make vertical shooting more comfortable and efficient.

How to use

Attach the grip to the camera base by aligning the contact points and securing the mounting screw. Insert one or two Canon BP-511-series batteries or load six AA batteries according to polarity markings. After installation the grip provides a vertical shutter release and duplicated controls; use these controls for comfortable portrait shooting.
