Battery grip Meike for Canon 60D vertical shooting support DV00BG0026
Battery grip Meike for Canon 60D (model DV00BG0026) replaces the original Canon BG-E9 and attaches to the camera base to provide extended power and improved handling for vertical shooting. It accepts Canon LP-E6 batteries (one or two) or six AA batteries, adds a vertical shutter release and duplicates essential controls to make portrait-orientation shooting more convenient. Compatible with Canon EOS 60D. Manufacturer: Meike (Extra Digital, EU). Warranty: 12 months.
The Meike battery grip increases battery capacity and runtime by accommodating one or two LP-E6 cells or six AA batteries. It provides ergonomic support for vertical shooting with a dedicated shutter release and duplicated control buttons including AE lock, AF start, AF point selection and main-dial operation. It is a direct-fit replacement for Canon BG-E9, designed for easy installation and reliable electrical connection to the camera.
Turn off the camera and align the grip with the camera base. Insert the grip’s metal contact into the camera’s battery compartment and secure the grip to the tripod socket using the mounting screw. Install one or two Canon LP-E6 batteries or six AA cells into the grip according to polarity markings, or use a single LP-E6 if preferred. Turn on the camera and verify the battery level and operation of the vertical shutter release and duplicated controls before shooting.
The grip is intended for use with Canon EOS 60D and compatible battery types only. Use quality rechargeable LP-E6 or AA batteries for best performance. Remove batteries when storing the grip long-term. Ensure the mounting screw is tightened to avoid intermittent contact, but do not overtighten to prevent damaging the camera’s tripod socket.
