Abrasive Belt Menzer RED 750×200 mm for BSM 750E/S, corundum grit K16
The Menzer RED abrasive belt 750×200 mm is made for use with Menzer BSM 750E and BSM 750S belt sanders. Constructed with corundum abrasive and a coarse K16 grit, the belt is intended for fast material removal on wood and similar substrates. It is suitable for initial shaping, rapid stock removal and first-stage surface leveling in carpentry, furniture restoration and general workshop sanding.
The corundum abrasive provides durable cutting performance and consistent sanding behavior under load. The K16 grit size enables aggressive stock removal while maintaining a predictable wear rate, reducing the number of passes required to reach the desired contour or thickness. The belt dimensions are matched to common 750 mm class sanders, ensuring proper tracking and contact area for efficient operation.
Install the abrasive belt according to the belt sander manufacturer's instructions, ensuring correct tracking and tension before starting. Start sanding with steady, even passes and moderate pressure; allow the abrasive to remove material without forcing the tool. For best results, move the sander along the grain on wood where possible and work progressively towards finer grits after coarse removal to achieve a smooth finish.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including dust mask, eye protection and hearing protection. Inspect the workpiece and adjust sander speed and pressure to avoid gouging. Replace the belt when cutting performance declines or the abrasive becomes clogged; for continued efficiency, follow a progression from coarse to medium to fine abrasives.
