Abrasive Belt Menzer RED 750 x 200 mm for BSM 750E/S, corundum grit K36
The Menzer RED abrasive belt 750 x 200 mm is made for heavy-duty sanding on BSM 750E and BSM 750S machines. Constructed with corundum (aluminium oxide) abrasive in K36 grit, this belt delivers aggressive material removal and consistent cutting performance on wood and similar substrates. The belt backing and coating are designed to withstand high pressure and provide stable tracking for initial sanding and rapid stock removal tasks.
The coarse K36 grit corundum abrasive provides fast, efficient removal of paint, lacquer, and rough timber surfaces while maintaining abrasive life under demanding conditions. The belt’s construction offers dimensional stability and resistance to tearing, which supports steady operation on high-speed belt sanders. Compatibility with BSM 750E and BSM 750S ensures a correct fit and predictable performance without the need for modifications.
Fit the 750 x 200 mm abrasive belt onto the BSM 750E or BSM 750S following the machine manufacturer’s instructions for belt mounting and tensioning. Start sanding with light, even passes to establish proper contact and tracking, then apply consistent pressure appropriate to the workpiece and tool. Replace the belt when cutting performance decreases significantly or if the backing shows signs of damage. Ensure the machine is switched off and disconnected from power before changing the belt.
Use this K36 corundum belt for the initial, coarse-stage sanding and stock removal; follow with progressively finer grits for finish quality. Operate dust extraction when sanding and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye, respiratory and hearing protection.
