Sanding sheet Metabo 635209000
The Metabo 635209000 hook and loop sanding sheets (100 x 150 mm, P120) are abrasive pads designed for sanding metal and wood surfaces. Supplied in a pack of 10, these red sanding sheets feature nine dust extraction holes positioned to match compatible orbital sanders with a hook-and-loop attachment system. The P120 grit provides medium-fine abrasion suitable for smoothing surfaces, removing light imperfections and preparing substrates for finishing.
These sanding sheets combine a hook-and-loop backing for fast attachment and replacement with a format that fits standard 100 x 150 mm orbital sanders. The nine-hole pattern supports efficient dust extraction through connected sanding tools, helping to reduce airborne dust and keep the work surface clearer. P120 abrasive offers a balance between material removal and surface refinement, while the pack includes multiple sheets to maintain workflow without frequent reordering.
Select a compatible orbital sander with a 100 x 150 mm pad and ensure the tool is disconnected from power before fitting the sheet. Align the nine dust-extraction holes with the sander’s pad openings and press the hook-and-loop backing firmly to secure the sheet. Start sanding with moderate pressure, moving the sander evenly across the surface. Replace the sheet when the abrasive becomes clogged or worn to maintain effective material removal and surface finish.
For best results when sanding wood, begin with a coarser grit if heavy material removal is required, then use P120 to refine the surface before finishing. When working on metal, use steady, even passes to avoid overheating the abrasive. Use a sander with dust extraction enabled and a suitable vacuum connection to maximise dust removal and extend sheet life. Store sheets flat and dry to preserve abrasive performance.
