Keyless chuck Metabo 636219000
The Metabo 636219000 keyless chuck provides a tool-free method for mounting and changing drill bits. With a clamping range from 1 mm to 10 mm, it accommodates small precision bits as well as larger general-purpose drill bits. Designed for compatibility with Metabo drills, the chuck offers secure bit retention and straightforward operation suitable for both workshop and on-site use.
The keyless design eliminates the need for a separate chuck key, enabling faster bit changes and reducing interruptions during work. Its 1–10 mm clamping range covers a wide range of bit diameters, improving versatility. The chuck construction ensures consistent clamping force to minimize slippage and maintain drilling accuracy. The compact form factor keeps the tool balance close to original drill ergonomics.
Ensure the drill is powered off and any battery pack is removed or the power cord unplugged before replacing or adjusting the chuck. Open the jaws by rotating the chuck sleeve counterclockwise, insert the desired bit fully into the chuck, then rotate the sleeve clockwise until the jaws clamp the bit firmly. After initial hand tightening, run the drill briefly at low speed to confirm secure seating and reduce the chance of runout. If the drill supports a spindle lock, use it for a more secure tightening procedure.
Inspect the chuck and jaws periodically for wear or debris; clean threads and jaws as needed and replace the chuck if excessive wear or slippage occurs. Use appropriate bits within the 1–10 mm range and avoid overstressing the chuck beyond its rated clamping capacity to maintain safe and reliable operation.
