Cleaner liquid for printed circuit boards MICROCHIP 1000 ml (MPN 5032)
Micro Chip cleaner liquid for printed circuit boards is a 1000 ml solution formulated to remove flux residues, dust and other contaminants from PCB surfaces. The product is intended for use during rework, maintenance and inspection to improve solderability and the electrical reliability of assembled boards. It is compatible with manual application methods such as brushing, swabbing or spraying and is provided in a ready-to-use liquid form for bench and service environments.
The cleaner liquid dissolves and removes common flux residues and light contamination without mechanical abrasion, helping to prepare pads and traces for reliable soldering. Its formulation evaporates cleanly to minimise residues after application. The product supports manual cleaning workflows and is supplied in a volume suitable for frequent maintenance tasks in repair shops and production labs. Packaging and viscosity are selected to allow controlled application by brush, swab or spray.
Apply the cleaner liquid to the contaminated area using a brush, swab or controlled spray. Allow the solvent action to dissolve flux and residues, then remove loosened contamination with fresh swabs or lint-free cloth. For heavier deposits, repeat application and mechanical agitation with a brush or swab as needed. After cleaning, allow the board to dry completely before powering or re-soldering components to ensure no solvent remains on the assembly.
Use the product in a well-ventilated area and follow workplace safety procedures, including appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection. Test the cleaner on a small area if the PCB uses sensitive coatings, adhesives or markings. Store the container upright in a cool, dry place away from heat sources and open flames. Dispose of used wipes and solvent residues in accordance with local regulations.
