This DisplayPort 2.1 cable delivers very high bandwidth (up to 80 Gbps) to enable 16K@60Hz, 8K@240Hz and high-refresh 4K resolutions while preserving color fidelity and dynamic range through HDR support and HDCP 2.3 compliance. Gold-plated connectors and a locking plug improve contact reliability and reduce connection-related signal loss. This cable is intended for devices that implement DisplayPort 2.1 features. It may not provide benefits when used with older hardware limited to DisplayPort 1.4 or earlier, or with devices that do not support DSC, MST, or the higher HDCP version. For short-distance, basic 1080p or 4K@60Hz uses, a lower-specification cable may be adequate and more cost-effective.
