Two-way radio Midland XT10 16 channels 446.00625 - 446.09375 MHz
The Midland XT10 two-way radio offers a compact, lightweight solution for short-range voice communication. Operating on 16 channels within the 446.00625–446.09375 MHz PMR446 band, the XT10 provides clear channel selection via an LCD display in a housing measuring 48 x 30 x 85 mm and weighing just 73 g. Powered by AAA alkaline batteries, this model is designed for straightforward, portable use during outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and family outings.
The XT10 combines small size and low weight with a clear LCD for easy channel reading and simple front-key operation. Its operation on the PMR446 frequency range requires no license in many regions and enables reliable short-range communication. The radio is available in two colours (black and red) and is supplied ready to use with standard AAA alkaline batteries, which makes it convenient for immediate deployment and replacement in the field.
Insert fresh AAA alkaline batteries, switch the radio on and use the front panel keys to select one of the 16 channels shown on the LCD. To communicate, press and hold the transmit (PTT) button while speaking clearly into the microphone and release it to listen. Keep both radios set to the same channel and privacy settings if applicable. Store spare batteries and check battery level on the LCD before prolonged use outdoors.
For optimal performance, use fresh high-quality alkaline batteries, keep the antenna clear of obstructions, and verify all group units are set to the same channel before departure. In open terrain the practical range is greater, while obstacles and built-up areas will reduce effective range.
