The MikroTik mAP (model RBmAP2nD) is a compact, portable dual-chain 2.4 GHz wireless access point with full RouterOS functionality. It supports 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet LAN and can be powered via USB, a power jack or Passive PoE. The device also functions as a PoE injector: its second Ethernet port can provide up to 500 mA to power another device.

How to use

Connect the mAP to a power source using USB, the DC power jack or a Passive PoE injector, then connect the LAN port to your network switch or modem. Configure wireless SSID, security and other RouterOS settings through the web interface or Winbox. To power a second device, connect that device to the second Ethernet port; the mAP will provide up to 500 mA to the connected device.
