How to use

Connect the hAP lite to your modem or network switch via one of the Fast Ethernet ports and power it using the supplied USB power adapter. Access RouterOS via WinBox, WebFig or SSH to perform initial configuration: set up your wireless SSID and security, configure NAT and firewall rules, and apply bandwidth or user access controls as needed. To add a wireless client quickly, press the WPS button on the device. To integrate the unit into a centrally managed MikroTik CAPsMAN network, press the CAP mode button and follow CAPsMAN controller instructions.

Usage recommendations

Place the router in a central, elevated location for best 2.4 GHz coverage, avoid nearby large metal objects and other sources of Wi‑Fi interference. Keep RouterOS updated and back up your configuration after initial setup.
